Melissa Sweet RW S ‘12: It’s hard to pull off the mix of flowers and feathers but this dress is one of the few that makes it work. I’m always a fan of corset bodices, the dropped waist and the A line skirt, with the lifted front and small train, create a beautiful silhouette. The flowers are not too over powering and perfectly placed; especially the ones near the waist creating a sinching effect. Very enchanting.

Farah Angsana: Beading + Tulle = Favorite Combination. It’s lovely.

Vera Wang RW’12: Gray Tulle, Pink Sash, & Fabulous bodice I might add… I admire you Vera.

Stumped.

This season has so many amazing trends but I notice not a lot of designers were taking advantage of these. I couldn’t believe how many repeat dresses I saw in the Spring ’12 runway collections, and boring ones at that. Most people chose platinum white for their entire collection. Why not mix it up? I admire the designers who had a range of colors from light pinks to grays. I would’ve even liked to have saw more creams, champagnes, & ecru’s. I was not that impressed with the selection this year and I’m interested to see what Fall ‘12 will be like…

Theia RW ‘12: Simple design but who needs extras when you have such gorgeous beading? I’m a sucker when it comes to intricate bead work. This is dazzling.

St.Pucchi RW ‘12: The contrast between the soft tiered skirt and the textured bodice makes me swoon. And the bow definitely ties it all together… ;)

Tara Latour RW’12: A newbie to the fashion world, Tara does a fabulous job setting herself apart from her competition. One of my favorite color combinations is cream, peach, and gray, and she puts it all together in one dress. I love how the left side (looking at it in the picture) is heavy with fabric and colors, and the other side is a bit plain but has its own character, which I admire.

Sarah Jassir Runway ‘12: Gah! I love it! The fabric’s print is amazing & the embellishment on the bodice ties everything together. Definitely not a typical wedding dress, and that’s why I think I love it so much. Sarah Jassir is a very promising designer. Mark my words she will be big within the next few years!

Another Marchesa RW’12: Can you say fairytale dress? The bejewled vine sleeves are something straight out of an Amy Brown painting. This regal, yet whimsical, creation is one of a kind this season, haven’t seen anything else like it.

Marchesa RW’12: The soft lace and fluffy tulle give this such a flirty feel. Like I said before, not usually partial to short dresses but this I couldn’t resist.

Ines Di Santo RW’12: The see through lace bodice is innocent yet seductive and the smooth texture of top plus the sash & a-line skirt pair well together.
